General Information:

The subject of my work is not simply the person or the landscape or the flower, it's the internal beauty that it represents. When I'm behind the camera, I want to capture something that speaks to me on a deep level.

Portraits are something anybody can do with good lighting and a little knowledge of photography basics, but the portraits I want to bring out of my models must say something more than "this is my photo."

My artistic work is usually with nude models. The human body is fascinating and beautiful. When light is added or taken away from the body amazing sights occur. With plenty of light, a nude body is often just that, a nude body...take some light away and that nude body turns into an abstract series of lines, or an elegant curve. Most of my nude work is done with candlelight as the light source, so it requires a longer shutter speed (sometimes as long as 5 seconds). This also leaves room to play with movement on the model's part, creating a whole new style!
